Working in partnership with the Computers-in-Homes Trust, we have run two courses for whānau wanting to gain a basic knowledge of using basic computer programmes, using email and performing simple tasks. As part of the package participants who complete the course get a desktop computer to take home and subsidised internet access for one year.

Criteria to be eligible for the course include having school-age children and not currently owning a computer. Courses are demand-based and require at least ten people to enrol. For those whānau living outside the Marlborough region, it is possible to enrol for a course in your area by contacting Computers-in-Homes directly. To go to their website, click here.
