Rotoroa tuna harvest wānanga

It’s that time of year again - time for our annual tuna harvest at Rotoroa.
Each year we take a wānanga to the lake to practice the tikanga of harvesting tuna in preparation for the Hui a Tau.
This year’s harvest will be held September 7-9, and we’re encouraging you to get involved. The wānanga is a great way to learn more about harvesting tuna and our cultural and spiritual connection to the lakes area.
It will start Friday afternoon - departure time is still to be confirmed. To register your interest, please give us a call on 0800 578 900 or email Lynne at administrator@ngatiapakiterato.iwi.nz
