The NGĀTI APA KI TE RĀ TŌ TRUST is the post-settlement governance entity (PSGE) established to receive and look after settlement redress received from the Crown as part of the iwi's Treaty of Waitangi settlement.

THE NGĀTI APA KI TE RĀ TŌ CHARITABLE TRUST is a non-profit organisation which supports the iwi's operations and aspirations. 

Both Trusts have a shared Board of Trustees, elected by members.
