Directors

Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō Investments Ltd (NAIL) is ultimately owned by Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō Trust and holds the commercial proceeds from the iwi’s Treaty settlement with the Crown.  Each year, NAIL makes a donation to the Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō Charitable Trust to support the iwi's operations and aspirations.

The other commercial company is the Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō Assets Holding Company Ltd (AHC), which was established under the Māori Fisheries Act 2004 to hold and manage fisheries assets on behalf of the iwi.  This company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō Charitable Trust and can also make distributions to the Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō Charitable Trust to support its operations.

Both commercial entities have a shared board of three directors, presently chaired by Gerrard Wilson.
