After being interrupted by Covid-19 early last year, we are pleased to let you know our Kaumātua Morning Tea series is back on.
Last year we were able to hold a catch-up with kaumātua in the Wairau, but then the planned event for Nelson was shelved when we all went into lock-down. We’d love to welcome our kaumātua in Nelson and Tasman to join us at the Nelson office (1/14 Harley St) for a casual catch up and kai on Tuesday, March 16 at 10.30am.
We’re hoping this will be a great chance to simply connect, share some kai and have a natter. Bring your photographs, your knitting, or just yourselves. If you are new to the area or perhaps haven’t been in touch with us – or one another - for awhile, don’t be shy, we’d love to see you.
Keep a lookout for morning tea get-togethers in other areas of the rohe throughout the year. If you live locally, are aged 65 or over and haven’t heard from us by phone, please feel welcome to give Lynne or Georgia a call freephone on 0800 578 900.
Nau mai, haere mai.
