Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō in the Spotlight

Our Cultural Advisor, Aaron Hemi, got to experience life in front of the camera this week (he was a natural!).

 

Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō was invited to share our connections with the Kawatiri River as part of an international television series focusing on the world’s most beautiful rivers. This was a great opportunity to communicate the cultural significance of the area and to share our stories extending from the mountains to the sea.
