At the end of January 2025, Ngāti Apa ki te Rā Tō are hosting Ngā Wairiki Ngāti Apa, who are retracing the steps of our tūpuna, Apa Hāpai-Taketake.
We invite whānau to join us for an awesome afternoon at Lake Rotoiti

What? Shared BBQ and Swim
The BBQ is a key part of the Ngā Wairiki Ngāti Apa tour, which follows significant sites linked to Apa’s journeys across the whenua.
This event at Rotoiti will be a meaningful time to reflect on our shared whakapapa and history, while looking ahead to the future.
